The wedding of Louise and Paul took place in the beautifully setting of Baslow Hall in Baslow, Derbyshire, I am amazed at the fact that there are still such stunning locations that I have not photographed before, or even heard of, Baslow Hall is such a location.

Standing at the end of a winding chestnut-tree-lined driveway, on the edge of the Chatsworth Estate, the house enjoys an enviable location surrounded by some of the country’s finest stately homes.
In 1988 Max & Susan bought this beautiful house as a fitting setting for their successful Michelin-starred restaurant business with the added benefit of bedrooms for overnight guests. By avoiding the standard ‘Country House’ approach to the interior Max & Susan have put together a very personal collection of furniture and pictures that reflects their own individual tastes. The result is an atmosphere of comfort and character that retains the elegance of bygone days when Baslow Hall was a private residence.
We have six traditional-styled bedrooms in the Main House which feature lavish fabrics and ornate plasterwork ceilings. The Garden House bedrooms are situated adjacent to Baslow Hall. In contrast to the ‘country house’ styling in the main house, the five Garden House bedrooms are of a more contemporary styling. They all have extremely comfortable beds, quality Egyptian cotton bedding and well appointed bathrooms.
